@tjschneider11 Yeah TJ, get some.
I feel bad posting this but I will be working at one of the Lodges in the Little Cotton Wood Canyon this upcoming 2011-2012 ski season…I will be riding a pair of 179 K2 Hellbents with season passes at both Alta and Snowbird
@TheRealSkiUtah I would love too. I think I am going to spend a week there next season though which I can’t wait for. We actually just got a little dusting of snow here on Mt. Washinton in New Hampshire and its pretty cold so hopefully this means its going to be a good east coast winter
@IMseanIsnowboard – Sounds like we have another La Nina winter in store for this year also. So we are probably going to get dumped on again. Get out here.
Wow this must of been a crazy winter for all the Utah shredders. I only live on the east coast and we had quite a bit of powder days but not a bunch but I still had a ton of fun.. I can’t imagine how awesome my winter would be if i spent it in Utah.
Blue skies and so many storms, Utah never disappoints.
killer edit, sweet track from SLC local Red Bennies and dope pow footy. Is it bad to start jones’n in September? Thanks for the flashbacks.
Great video, brought back a lot of great memories. This has been the longest summer I can remember!
Really could of done without Shaun White though, his parts totally did not belong and it killed the vibe and mood.
It’s all powder and tree runs and then here comes some red headed chick wearing all leather throwing half pipe tricks…..
Don’t get me wrong Shaun White is a totally good guy and I don’t really have anything against him, but not in these kind of videos, please.
@wvskidude15 ok canyons has 184 trails total 173 open on 19 lifts, there is one point at SLC International airport where you are 1 hour from actually skiing at Alta, Brighton, Bingham, Canyons, Park City Mountain Resort, Snow Bird, and Deer Valley. you can be on the slopes skiing in about an hour so id choose utah any day
@wiz4rdf1sh0123 Vail has no snow? they have over 180 trails open! Your talking about 2 resorts put together 34 lifts, im only talking about 1 resort buddy so coloroda is better
Well I have always wanted to go Utah in the winter.
@wvskidude15 Pow mow claims to have the most ski able acres whether or not thats true is not up to me. Vail has no snow this year bro. Pow mow has 10″ of fresh powder, and at least 40″ under that, the PC super pipe is the training ground for the Olympics so try to one up that. and on a combined lift pass to Alta and Brighton you can top 34 lifts so not saying Col. has bad resorts just saying Utah has better
@wiz4rdf1sh0123 at pow mow u can only access 2500 acres by lift, at vail u can access over 5000 thats what i meant. vail has 34 lifts so 23 isnt that much, steamboat in clolrado has the WORLDS longest superpipe and colorado is home to some serious olympic athletes. And where are the xgames held at?? buttermilk which is at colorado. colorado can up 1 about everything on utah. so keep dreaming
@wvskidude15 Look man Ive been to Aspen and Vail and they are great but Pow Mow in Utah has the most ski able acres in the US with 7000, granted you need a guide for 1500 of those but other that its the biggest and PC and Canyons are worldclass for everyone Canyons has 23 lift systems and nearly 200 runs, PC is home to an amazing Superpipe, and some of the greatest US Winter athletes live and train in Utah, so case closed Utah is better but The Utah-Col area is the best in the US
colorado sucks they only get like 300 inches and utah gets 500. and its easier to get to utah
they’re both the same. the only difference is the they are on different sides of the rocky mountains.
you know never mind we can all agree that both ski resorts great but it is final. All other states have crappy ski resorts.
I like Utah’s ski resorts better don’t get me wrong I love colorado’s too
Ok Colorado is way better it has the highest skiable terrain from a resort in north America vail is the biggest ski resort in the US. It takes nearly a week to ski all the trails unlike 2 days to ski snowbird. Have u ever ben to Denver? It’s on a plain so it does take a while to get to the good mountains. I go to ski school in Vermont and love both areas but Colorado is better
both are great end of story let it fuckin snow and lets go ski and board
Colorado Is Better I’ve skied both. However, Colorado is the best in the world. Utah is right behind Colorado.
this is a horrible representation of colorado you send some gayper to vail when there is 6 sick ass ski areas you pass before than and salt lake is sick but its crowded with crappy laws and mormoms colorado is sick you just got be from here to know ts tru value
shhhhh..no nothing to see here in Utah. Colorado is WAY better. stay there please.
I lived in Utah my whole life… SKI UTAH, BEST SNOW ON EARTH!!!!!!
@socialbenbrown EGE or Eagle County Airport is about an hour and half drive to Vail. SLC or Salt Lake City International is about 30-45 minute drive to Snowbird.
I have lived in Utah all my life…ski Utah!!!!!
I have lived in Utah all my life and… go to Colorado!!!!
Utah I so much better
Obviously this video is over dramatized. You could make the videos favoring both and still wind up with the skier on Snowbird before the other skier would be on Vail.
If you really were skiing in to ski Vail you wouldn’t fly into Denver. You would fly into Eagle County. Which is pretty much the EXACT same distance as SLC to Snowbird.
I am not going to state which one I favor. All I am looking to do is make sure the FACTS are straight.
UTAH is the place. There was never any question. But feel free to vacation in Denver. I want the mountain to myself
Ya love this video utah is the best with snowbird
dont worry most people that stay in utah say its to mormon but slc is the most liberal city in utah so the people are kinda chill youll like utah haters
THE SONG IS FROM SLC RAPPERS “CALICO AND BLOCKS” GOOGLE THEM CATS IF U DONT KNO WASSUP!
