A blogger and a photographer Anastasia Volkova lives in Moscow together with her husband and her cat Buffon. The girl adores traveling and filming for her personal archive.
In her childhood, Nastia wasn’t crazy about photographing but she used to look through her parents’ photo albums. Her interest in photos woke in her conscious age when she wanted to create her own books of memories. Since then she took pictures on point and shoot cameras and only a year and a half later she bought her first Canon 400D.
Nastia considers Instagram a convenient and quick service for everyday communication with friends, subscribers and acquaintances. The blog’s mobility attracts Nastia as she can say hi to thousands of people from every corner of the world at once.
The photographer is most inspired by the sunlight. Nastia shoots the world that surrounds her on her Canon 5D Mark III or iPhone 6: people, landscapes, delicious dishes and everyday life. In the blogger’s opinion, it doesn’t matter what to shoot. The point is to share truly important and interesting moments with the others and there’s no place for artificiality and patterns.
These are mostly her friends who are subscribed to @anastasia_volkova account. Among strangers, the profiles with incredibly beautiful landscapes and some lifestyle shots draw Nastia’s attention. She look through her followers’ pages rather seldom as she’s often pushed for time. There’s no doubt that the number of subscribers is important for Nastia, but she publishes her photos not for likes. The photo she really likes is to appear in Instagram, that’s for sure.
